Welcome to Texas Homeless Network

Dear Viewer,
We've had a busy couple of months at THN! Right after the conclusion of our successful annual Conference in September, we hired an HMIS Coordinator in mid-September. Please read below for the latest updates and articles at THN.
Conference Coordinator Report

The Texas Homeless Network held their 19th Annual Conference, themed "Face the Homeless", at the Omni Dallas Park West Hotel on September 4-7, 2007. Over 400 persons attend this year's conference. Conference participants included elected officials, licensed practitioners of the healing arts, social workers, managers, advocates and consumers.

"We were pleased that so many dedicated individuals were able to attend this year's conference." said Greg Gibson, Conference Coordinator. "We were able to arrange for over 40 workshops covering a wide variety of issues. The participant's comments indicated that they were very pleased with the presenter's level of knowledge about the various topics and they found that the workshops would add value to their everyday work."
