• Trainings on the SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery (SOAR) process to increase access to SSI and SSDI for people experiencing homelessness with mental illnesses and/or co-occurring substance use disorders
• Trainings to school liaisons on Keeping Homeless Children in School and the McKinney-Vento Act
• Case Management training
• Advocacy efforts to improve policies affecting the over 80,000 Texans experiencing homelessness 
• Technical assistance and support to homeless coalitions, continuua of care, and the Balance of State agencies
• Application for funding on behalf of the Balance of State agencies
• The Texas Conference on Ending Homelessness
• Administration and support of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) for the Balance of State region
