FEATURED Resource Review:
STREETWISE
A shocking reality of teenagers living on the streets without anyone to depend on except for themselves. This video awakens those that may not be acustomed to the reality of the streets and intrigued enough to receive an Academy Award Nomination. There is no narration throughout the film, just the voices of those kids that are being followed and subtly interviewed. It’s an emotionally compelling video because you are forced to listen to the beggar on the street and appeal to what they have to say. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone that would like to create awareness in a group or even in yourself.
