The Homeless Issues Partnership is hosting their First Annual Project Connect Breakfast — Working to End Homelessness through Civic Engagement and Awareness.” The breakfast is from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2006 and will include speakers and breakfast catered by Water Street Restaurant. Sponsors are the City of Corpus Christi and the John G. and Marie Stella Kenedy Foundation.

The Homeless Advisory Network in collaboration with the HOPE Project and the Sabine Valley Center produced a video, Woody’s Story, The Face of Homelessness. The intent of the video is to create an empathy bond between homeless folks and persons who have no direct contact with homeless persons and who may hold adverse stereotypes.
