THN invites you to submit proposals for workshops, institutes, roundtable discussions, or symposia for THN’s 2001 Convention. THN is committed to promoting effective service to homeless people by providing information, resources, and technical assistance to homeless service providers in Texas. Presentations for this year’s convention should inspire, re-energize, and support efforts to bridge our services into the 21st Century, promote networking between and among service providers, present cutting-edge information to enhance service delivery, and contribute to establishing self-sustaining frameworks for change.

Although we encourage creativity and innovation, priority will be given to presentations within the categories of employment, housing, management, advocacy and health.

Presenters (and co-presenters) are encouraged to submit an application that demonstrates relevance, knowledge, experience, and expertise. Proposals should be brief, informative, clear and targeted to a specific audience or audiences.
