Project Development Intensive (full day)

 

What: This one-day, interactive workshop will give an in depth view of the development of the Supportive Housing Program, Shelter Plus Care, and the Section 8 Mod Rehab Single Room Occupancy Programs for Continuum of Care funding.

Topics will include:

  • Eligible applicants and activities;
  • Identifying target populations;
  • Developing permanent supportive and transitional housing programs through new construction, acquisition, rehabilitation and leasing;
  • Determining appropriate supportive services and identifying collaborative partners;
  • Developing performance measurement systems;
  • Identifying additional resources for project funding and match; and
  • Developing realistic timelines

Who: Intended for upper management, Continuum of Care grant writers, Housing Directors, Development Directors, and anyone currently implementing a HUD funded program and anyone assisting in writing the Continuum of Care grant.
