Cohorts Designed for Every Role
Homeless Services Leadership Cohort
Purpose: This cohort connects Directors and Senior Executives in the homeless service sector to share insights, collaborate on strategies, and tackle leadership challenges together.
What to Expect:
- Quarterly Virtual Meetings: Facilitated by THN’s COO, Kristin Zakoor, with guest speakers and focused agendas.
- Interactive Discussions: Share challenges, brainstorm solutions, and learn from peers.
- Exclusive Topics: Leadership in crisis, sustainable capacity building, equity in leadership, and innovative technologies.
Quarterly Meeting Flow:
- Welcome and Check-In
- Expert Presentation or Guest Speaker
- Breakout Group Discussions
- Open Forum for Challenges & Solutions
- Wrap-Up and Action Steps
Engagement: Stay connected between meetings through our private Basecamp group to share resources, post questions, and celebrate successes.
Direct Services Discussions: Homeless & Housing Solutions Forum
Purpose: A space for frontline staff to share strategies, solve problems, and support each other while addressing the unique challenges of direct service work.
What to Expect:
- Quarterly Virtual Discussions: Lightly facilitated by THN staff with flexible, participant-driven agendas.
- Peer-to-Peer Learning: Collaborate with others on the frontlines to share solutions and best practices.
- Practical Topics: Building client connections, overcoming barriers, creative problem-solving, and resource optimization.

How to Join:
Participation in THN cohorts is reserved for our Agency Members. These memberships help us support your work and strengthen our collective impact across Texas while providing your team access to THN programs, including these cohorts, plus training discounts, resources, and more
Want to confirm you’re a current member?
- Check to see your agency listed on our current supporters page here.
- Once you find your agency name, contact your agency admin to get the password for the THN member portal.
- Enter the member portal and sign up under the “Join a Peer Cohort” section.
Not a current member?
- Choose which membership is right for you on our membership page and sign up today.
- Once you register, email development@thn.org to let us know you’re an active member to get the password for our member portal.
