2025-26 TX BoS CoC Board Election
Voting in the CoC Board election is open from February 9th through February 22nd, 2026. Anyone who lives and/or works in one of the 214 counties in the TX BoS CoC is considered to be a general member of the CoC and may vote in the election. (See the CoC map at https://tinyurl.com/ywh39af3).

The CoC received a record number of nominations, and all the candidates would bring valuable experience to the board. Thanks to everyone for your interest in serving.

Seat 1 – Persons with Lived Experience of Homelessness
- Ronette Boyd — President of Safe Haven for Women; Gregg County
- Courtney Horton — Executive Director at Abilene Hope Haven and HUD Program Administrator at Betty Hardwick Center; Taylor County
- Robert Washington — Founder/CEO of Shelter Share; Bell County
Seat 11 – Public Housing Authority
- Benjamin Davis — Executive Director at the Housing Authority of the City of Texas City; Galveston County
- Lee Norton — Executive Director of Galveston Housing Plus; Galveston County
Seat 13 – Business
- Jason Denny — Executive Chairman at BOLD Management and Chief Executive Officer and President at Military Veterans Empowerment Network (MVEN); Bastrop County
- Antoinette Smith — Executive Director at 4:13 Ladies, Inc.; Brazoria County
Seat 14 – Faith Community or Faith-Based Organization
- Aaron Farnon — Deputy Senior Director at Endeavors; Kendall County
- Daphne Houston — Director of Programs at Christian Community Action; Denton County
- Lakeydra Houston — Homeless Veteran Reintegration Program Supervisor at U&I; Rockwall County
- Halima Hurston Wilson — Assistant Director at Port Cities Rescue Mission Ministries; Jefferson County
- Remy Jules — Managing Director at Elect Housing Solutions; Williamson County
- Keith Millar — Rural and Faith-Based Program Coordinator at the Texas Veterans Commission; Ector County
- Curlette “CeCe” Moreland – Founder of TOJ Tiny and Affordable Homes, LLC; Bell County
Seat 18 – Community Action Agency
- Crystal Narviz — Housing and Veterans Program Director at the Concho Valley Community Action Agency; Tom Green County
- Audra Rea — Director of Family Services at Panhandle Community Services; Potter County
The other six seats that were up for election received only one nominee each, and the CoC Board has accepted those nominees to fill the seats for which they were nominated.

- Victor Rivera – Executive Director at Loaves & Fishes of the Rio Grande Valley, Inc.; Cameron County
Seat 5 – Homeless Youth
- Stephanie Rocha – Executive Director at Beyond Trafficking; Taylor County
Seat 7 – Mental/Behavioral Health
- Jason Priddy – Case Manager at West Texas Counseling and Guidance; Tom Green County
Seat 9 – City Government
- Natalie Manzanares — Housing Program Coordinator at the City of McAllen; Hidalgo County
Seat 10 – Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Recipient
- Marcela Cervantes — Community Development Department Assistant Director at the City of Laredo; Webb County
Seat 15 – State Government Agency or Texas Interagency Council for the Homeless (TICH)
- Jeremy Stremler – Director of the Housing Resource Center at the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs; all counties in Texas
