FY2024 CoC Program Competition Materials

  • On September 5, 2025, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) reissued a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the CoC Builds initiative, permitting the TX BoS CoC to submit a single application. 
  • Given the expedited one-week deadline of September 12, 2025, and the prior vetting and approval of the Housing Authority of the City of Laredo by the CoC Board, the Board approved resubmission on their behalf without conducting a new local competition.

      • The CoC Board has approved the Priority Listing of Projects to be recommended to HUD on behalf of the Texas Balance of State Continuum of Care. To learn more, click here.
        • Related, the CoC is also uploading Attachment 1E-5b for the CoC Application, which is the ranked list of projects recommended to HUD for inclusion on the Priority Listing  (Different formatting, same content). To learn more, click here.
      • The CoC Board has directed staff to re-open the CoC Builds Intent to Apply. The Intent to Apply will remain open for 24 hours. The portal will open today, September 26th, at 9:30 AM CDT, and close tomorrow, September 27th, at 9:29 AM CDT.
